A unique hotel mixed with turn-of-the-century charm
Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa is a hotel with many experiences and an exciting Asian spa. Here, an evocative turn-of-the-century atmosphere is mixed with thousand-year-old influences from the East. We have a total of 178 hotel rooms, 66 of which are Boutique rooms, all decorated with a unique touch and with individual decor. We also have 20 conference rooms, a private auditorium and a magnificent banquet hall.

How did Varberg get its Stadshotell in 1902 and what has happened to the hotel since then? Among other things, the hotel was one of the first buildings to get electricity, and the final bill for the entire Stadshuset amounted to almost SEK 450,000!
