Our Group’s commitment to a better world is a long-standing one. All our work must promote health and contribute to sustainable development, both on a daily and long-term basis. The aim is for our business to be able to use and save the earth’s resources.
Environmental responsibility
We want to be able to say with pride that we take responsibility for ensuring that future generations have a healthy planet to live on. That’s why we have ambitious targets for purchasing, water consumption, energy consumption and waste. With annual and quarterly measurements, we strive to reduce the consumption of resources. Below you can see a selection of what we do.
Hotel Cleaning
The entire hotel is cleaned as climate-smart as possible. This means careful dosing and eco-labeled choices in the few chemical products we use. Of course, all chemicals used every day are eco-labeled!

Modern technologies for energy consumption
We use modern technology to control energy consumption in our buildings in an optimal and resource-efficient way. All new installations must be energy-efficient and buildings must be built with the highest environmental standards. Among other things, we work with energy recovery from refrigerators, freezers and pools at spas.

UV water purification at Asia Spa
To reduce water consumption and chemical use, we use UV purification when cleaning pools at Asia Spa.

Ecolabels such as the Swan, Krav & Fairtrade
All our coffee and tea is climate-compensated, KRAV and Fair Trade labeled.
We only use Nordic Swan Ecolabeled tea lights and pillar candles.
We use 100% environmentally friendly consumables, such as toilet paper, tissue paper, copy paper and notepads.
Our printed matter is produced by a Nordic Swan Ecolabelled printing company.

Waste sorting & recycling
We reduce our combustible waste because we sort everything that can be sorted.
Food waste is reduced through well thought-out portions and proper care of food.
We take care of and recycle all cans and bottles. What we receive in deposits we donate to charity. In 2024, we received SEK 23,500 in deposits, which we chose to donate to the Loza Foundation.

Our diversity of nationalities, genders and disabilities is a strength
and an asset for us. Through our values and norms, we want everyone
to always feel welcome with us. Both as a guest and as a job seeker.
We also take great pleasure in being involved outside our own business
in the local context in which we operate. We want to take social responsibility and believe in the motto that no one can do everything, but that everyone can do something.

Lotus Love – our own spa products
Lotus Love are products specially designed for our relaxing environment and well-being. It is inspired by the lotus flower, which symbolizes purity and promotes happiness and longevity.
It’s not just the packaging that’s beautiful, but also the contents. Our Lotus Love products are both Nordic Swan Ecolabeled and vegan. For example, we have a scented candle made of soy wax, which is biodegradable, and our products also contain no microplastics.

The Lotus Hotel Group has good internal controls, but despite this there may be irregularities. We encourage people with knowledge or suspicion of wrongdoing to report it.
