A tunnel is being built in Varberg, which means that some roads are periodically closed. This only affects traffic from the north.

From Gothenburg:
Take the exit at Varberg Nord (exit 55). Continue straight ahead at Lassabackarondellen onto Västkustvägen and follow the signs for hospital. After Varberg Energi, turn right at the roundabout and then right again onto Träslövsvägen towards the center. Continue on Träslövsvägen and turn left at the second roundabout onto Sveagatan, turn right at the next intersection, right again and then left onto Prästgatan. Turn right onto Kungsgatan. The hotel is located at Kungsgatan 24-26 at Varbergs torg.

From Malmö:
Take the exit at Varberg Syd (exit 53). Drive towards Varberg center. At the fourth roundabout, drive straight through and follow the sign to Varbergs Stadshotell & Asia Spa after about 1000 m where you turn right. You will find us on Kungsgatan 24-26 at Varbegs torg.

If you drive an electric car, we have charging stations in our private parking lot for both regular electric cars and Tesla. The parking lot is only one block from the hotel. Let us know in advance or at the reception and you will get more information. Cost 250 SEK/night.
