Mingle party with buffet
Would you like a relaxed wedding party in a comfortable environment, with lots of mingling and a little lighter food? Our kitchen is a master at creating festive buffets, and with some good drinks to go with it, you have a lovely mingle party.
This is perfect to have in our party room Stenhuset, where you have the whole house and a Mediterranean garden to yourself.
Classic wedding dinner
Invite to a classic wedding dinner with well-chosen wines. Our kitchen offers well-composed dishes and complete menus that are adapted to the best that the season has to offer. You decide the number of dishes!
Depending on the length of your guest list and the style of your wedding, we have different venues to offer for your big day.
Weddings with extra everything
Setting up the magnificent Spegelsalen for a wedding reception is one of the most fun things we do. We customize the banquet hall, completely according to your wishes and serve a fantastic banquet. The number of dishes and level of drinks are planned together with the wedding coordinator and sommelier.
We are happy to help book entertainment to set the right mood at the party. Stage, own bar and surrounding areas create all possibilities!

Whether you want a small intimate wedding dinner, or a grand wedding with room for entertainment and dancing, we have the venue for your wedding!
Stenhuset – relaxed and secluded
for weddings of up to 50 guests
Stenhuset, one block from the hotel, is something special. Perfect for the small wedding and you have the whole house to yourself. In fine weather, all guests can be welcomed on the terrace in the stunning Mediterranean garden. If the weather disappoints, the mingling moves into the 17th century vaults where dinner is also served.
Spegelsalen – grand and splendid
for weddings of up to 150 guests
Spegelsalen is a magnificent and fantastic party room of 240 m² where you feel the wings of the last century. When you book Spegelsalen, you can invite up to 150 people to a wedding party. The room is set up for dinner and later it is rearranged for entertainment and dancing if desired.
The restaurant – lunch wedding or wedding dinner
For parties of up to 20 guests
For smaller parties, we offer a beautiful seating in our Chambre Séparée located in the restaurant. Here you can sit in privacy for up to 20 people. We can also offer other rooms for 40-60 people in connection with the restaurant. Perfect for a simple wedding dinner, lunch wedding or perhaps simply just to celebrate love!

wedding by the sea or in varberg church
Many people dream of having their wedding by the sea in Varberg. Maybe you want to walk down from the hotel with your entire wedding party? A short walk that takes about ten minutes. If you want a traditional wedding in the church, it is no problem as Varberg Church is only 50 meters from the hotel entrance.
Varberg Church
Just 50 meters from our hotel’s entrance, Varberg’s church, which dates from the 18th century, takes pride of place. Many of our wedding guests choose to get married here and, after a short walk, are welcomed in to a set table.
Kallbadhuset in Varberg
Many wedding photos have been taken at Kallbadhuset in Varberg. Not surprising, perhaps, as it is a stunning Moorish-style building with a wealth of carpentry details.
Varberg Fortress
Perhaps you want to get married at Varberg Fortress? There is a wonderful view of the sea and a unique setting in a historic environment, dating back to the late 13th century.

Do you want a special theme for your wedding? Maybe you want a 50s theme in Spegelsalen or a Mediterranean party in Stenhuset? We will help you with the details required to get the right feeling at the wedding.

We have many good contacts both when it comes to ordering wedding cakes and flower arrangements. We coordinate and arrange so that everything is exactly as you imagined.
Your own bar
After dinner, it can be fun to have a bar where guests can order wine, beer or drinks. Of course we can arrange that too! Price according to consumption.

Varbergs Stadshotell offers a relaxing environment for you and your guests. We are happy to help you make preliminary room reservations and offer customized packages for the entire wedding party.
The hotel also features the Asia Spa – an Asian spa with hot springs, various saunas and rooms for relaxation.

At Varbergs Stadshotell we have several different room categories that you can choose from based on your wishes. Easy for guests who want to be close to “home” when the party is over. For the bride and groom, we recommend one of our fine boutique or deluxe rooms, with plenty of space to get ready before the wedding.
