Varbergs Stadshotell has been eating, drinking and dancing for over a hundred years – under the crystal chandelier in the Spegelsalen, in the restaurant and now also in one of Varberg’s oldest houses – Stenhuset. Tell us about your dreams and expectations and we will give you our full commitment.

Mingle party with buffet
Do you want a relaxed party with lots of mingling and a little lighter food? Our kitchen is a master of buffets of all kinds – choose a theme and we will suggest a suitable buffet.
We also have suggestions for the setting if you want to go “all in” with the theme – for example, our party room Stenhuset offers unexpected possibilities where thoughts are transported to a Greek tavern or a charming Italian trattoria.
Festive dinner
Do you have a holiday, an anniversary or something else you want to celebrate with good friends? Offer a classic 2- or 3-course dinner with well-chosen wines. The kitchen offers well-composed dishes and complete menus that are adapted to the best that the season has to offer.
Regardless of the size of the party, we adapt the premises and menus to your wishes.
Party with extra everything
The most fun we know is setting up the magnificent Spegelsalen in full festive dress. The chairs get white chair covers, the tables white tablecloths and the guests are served a dinner beyond the ordinary. The number of courses is decided together with our chef and well-chosen drinks are picked out of our wine cellar.
The right mood is set with entertainment – perhaps a sober violinist, a lively cover band or a raucous rock band – you decide. A stage and dance floor are available to dance the night away if you wish.

Stenhuset – small and cozy
for up to 50 guests
The Stenhuset, one block from the hotel, is something special. Perfect for the small event with room for up to 50 people where you have the whole house to yourself. In fine weather, all guests can be welcomed on the terrace in the fantastic Mediterranean garden. If the weather disappoints, the mingling moves into the 17th century vaults where dinner is also served.
Spegelsalen – for the big party
for up to 150 guests
Spegelsalen is a magnificent and fantastic party room of 240 m² where you feel the wings of the last century. When you book Spegelsalen, you can invite up to 150 people to a party. The room is set up for dinner and later it is rearranged for entertainment and dancing if desired.
The restaurant – in a separate room
For up to 20 guests
For smaller parties, we offer a beautiful seating in our chambre séparée located in the restaurant. Here you sit secluded up to 20 people. Perfect for celebrating a birthday, an anniversary or perhaps holding a christening party. We can also offer other rooms for 40-150 people in connection with the restaurant.
Stenhuset – small and cozy

To keep the party atmosphere at its peak even after dinner, it can be fun to have your own bar adjacent to the venue. Of course, we arrange it and load the bar with the drinks you want.
