Here you can see the current activity schedule. In addition to our regular classes, we also run inspiring pop-up classes on selected occasions. More information about them can be found in our events calendar.

Our activity classes offer recovery from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We want to offer you the opportunity to achieve stillness and strength through various forms of yoga. You are guided by our trained instructors. The classes are suitable for everyone, young and old, stiff and soft. Please remember not to eat 60 minutes before class and wear exercise clothes unless otherwise stated.

We have drop-in at all our regular classes. Please arrive in good time. You are welcome to join us!

Class descriptions

Hara/Core – Builds back and abdominal strength (F)

Inspired by pilates, yoga and martial arts, we bring our core/chi to life through gentle, long movements in a flow to build strength in our core. A lot of focus on breathing, the driving force that develops and keeps us alive.

According to Eastern medicine, Hara is the center of Qi – life force.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Yang/Strength – A strength session at a slower pace (F)

Focus on posture, breath and one muscle group at a time. In the body, the muscles and bloodstream are YANG. The class activates and increases the flow of YANG. At the end of the class you will enjoy a lying/sitting gong relaxation. Leave the class filled with energy and power!

The exercises are done standing, sitting and lying down.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Qi Gong/Qi Gong Gong (S)

With the help of mental exercises and simple, quiet, gentle movements derived from Chinese culture, we promote our circulation of Qi – life force. Qi Gong Gong ends with Gong meditation.

Exercises are done standing up.

Clothing: soft clothes or your yukata and barefoot.

Gong Meditation – Calms you down to soft tones (M)

Healing sounds of gongs during lying meditation. Experience how tensions release, your body and mind become calmer.

Clothing: soft clothes or your yukata and barefoot.

Yoga – For strength, flexibility and balance of body and mind (F)

Both static and dynamic exercises are performed on the yoga mat. Yoga means union between body and mind. Through different body positions “Asanas” together with controlled breathing, strength, flexibility and balance are improved.

The exercises are done sitting, lying down and standing.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Yin Yoga – Perfect for those who are stiff (S)

The positions are simple and are performed sitting or lying down, held for a few minutes to stimulate the body’s connective tissue and internal organs. A restorative and therapeutic form of yoga originating from Chinese medicine.

Yin yoga is suitable for everyone – with the help of pillows, bolsters, you can adapt the postures to your own conditions. Hope to see you on the yoga mat!

Silent Yoga – For better self-awareness and harmony (S)

Silent Yoga is inspired by the tradition of raja yoga, an ancient form of yoga that, through meditation and quieter positions, leads to better self-awareness and gives you harmony.

Exercises are done sitting and lying down.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Surya yoga/Sun Salutations – Gives you strength and mobility (F)

We dance our way through creative sun salutations and finally land in a nice deep relaxation. A perfect peak on the weekend that fills you with energy!

Surya stands for sun and creation!

Chakra yoga (S)

We wake up the body and balance the energies in the body with simple movements suitable for everyone. Keeping the energy vortices, our chakra system, flowing freely is fundamental to our health and vitality. Energy is the origin of life.

Exercises are done standing and sitting.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Chakra yoga Sukha (S-M)

We wake up the body and balance the energies in the body with simple movements suitable for everyone. Keeping the energy vortices, our chakra system, flowing freely is fundamental to our health and vitality. Energy is the origin of life.

The class ends with a guided meditation to welcome Sukha. Sukha is a state of bliss and balance.

Exercises are done standing and sitting.

Morning Vinyasa – Flow that raises the heart rate and gives energy (F)

Dynamic Vinyasa yoga that gives power and strength. We flow and help you find your rhythm through powerful and energizing yoga poses. One breath, one movement is the focus of this class.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

The five Tibetans (F)

Along with controlled breathing and five yoga exercises, energy flow is stimulated and nerves, organs and glands are revitalized.

The exercises are done standing, sitting and lying down.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Warm Aroma Yin Yoga (S)

A lovely yin class with a twist held in our light therapy room where the temperature is slightly higher. We will also use essential oils to create an extra nice atmosphere in the room and make it easier for body and mind to land in the positions and relaxation.

Clothing: soft clothing and barefoot.

Chandra Namaskara/Greetings (S-F)

This class is inspired by the traditional moon salutation sequence of hatha yoga, Chandra namaskara. The sequence helps us to balance our inherent fire element and thus has a stress-reducing effect and balances both body and mind. The asanas (positions) that make up the sequence strengthen the body’s muscles and increase its flexibility, if practiced regularly.

Chandra namaskara / moon salutations are performed at a leisurely pace where we focus on the experience of the breath and how the body is affected by the different positions.

The class is accessible to everyone and is performed barefoot in soft clothing.

Pranayama

Through conscious breathing you can influence both body and mind. In this class you will be guided through different breathing techniques to reduce stress, create balance in the body’s circular system, clear thoughts and land in deep relaxation. Pranayama is the basis for the life energy, prana, to flow in the body.

The class is done lying down

Clothing: Soft clothing and no shoes

Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra invites the body to land in deep relaxation while the mind is awake but far away in the borderland. Practicing yoga nidra can help you calm your nervous system, improve memory, recovery and sleep. It can also boost your creativity.

You lie down throughout the session and mentally follow the instructor’s guidance.

Clothing: Warm soft clothing.

Pop-up class

On selected evenings, we will offer various pop-up classes and perhaps the occasional guest teacher. Dates for this will be released on a rolling basis.

At Asia Spa, you can become a kyaku member and attend yoga and various fitness classes as much as you like on weekdays.

If you want to give your body a real workout, try our Technogym in the Peacock House department. There are machines for both cardio and strength. The gym is open to hotel and spa guests between 06:00 and 22:00. Age limit 15 years.
