This is how a visit to Asia Spa works:

First, you’ll be welcomed at reception and given a yukata (Japanese bathrobe), washcloth, towel, mug and basket to take around with you during your time at Asia Spa.

If you’re staying at the hotel, you’ll come changed into your own swimwear and the bathrobe and slippers provided in your room.

Feel free to bring slippers and a bathrobe for the little ones. The minimum size of slippers is 37 and the bathrobe fits a six/seven year old.

Then follows a short introduction by a spa host. You’ll find out what there is to experience at the spa and how to get the most out of your stay. Our pools are not the place to make the “bomb”, but here we keep a calm atmosphere and let the whole family unwind.

Japanese Ablution and changing

In the washing room, you sit on wooden stools and pour hot water into the small copper tub. You pour the water over your body, take your washcloth and scrub your whole body thoroughly with soap and water. It’s hard to scrub your own back, so you’ll have to help each other. Take your time. In Japan, they wash for at least an hour.

Then it’s time to dry off, put on your swimwear, bathrobe and slippers.

Start with our rest & relaxation rooms

We recommend starting your spa vacation by taking advantage of the dry areas in our rooms for rest and relaxation. Here you will find Surya and our orangery, where you can relax in the light that flows in through the large windows. Furthermore, you will find Peacock House, which is a slightly quieter department with, among other things, light and dark therapy rooms.

Meditate in light or darkness

You can also visit the light therapy room and the darkroom. Here you can rest in warm beds and listen to meditation or music. In the darkroom, there is a fantastic starry sky on the ceiling that changes color. Many children find it very exciting.

Fruit hour with a view of Varberg

Now it’s probably time for fruit time. It is best taken in the Orangery or in a hanging chair on Surya. Read a book or just relax for a while and enjoy the view of the rooftops, the sea and Varberg Fortress.

Time for a swim

Now might be the time to head to the wet areas for some warm and lovely swimming.

Foot baths are great. It’s nice to sit next to each other and eat some fruit. Our foot salt is out on the floor, so you can help each other pour in salt. Children are full of speed and have a lot of running in their legs. That’s why it’s especially important to take care of their feet.

Vitality Pool – best in Asia Spa

Now it’s time to jump in the bath and what better place to start than the Vitality Pool? If you ask children what the best part of Asia Spa is, you’ll usually get the answer – the Vitality Pool! We agree completely. It is something very special. If you want to swim in the Vitality Pool, you need to be able to swim, or have an adult by your side at all times.

Even a dip in our hot springs is usually appreciated.

Roof terrace with pool, sauna and cold bath

Through our glazed spa lounge you step out onto a terrace overlooking the sea and Varberg Fortress. Here you can enjoy a warm rooftop pool all year round, a sauna with panoramic views and a refreshing cold bath.

Bastuoas

It is nice to end the spa experience with a moment in the sauna oasis. Here we have four different saunas (yes, it’s actually called that in plural) to take part in. Here you can scrub your body with ice crusher, try ice rain and tropical shower with different colors and with a scent of mango.

Maybe someone will dare to try a quick dip in the cold spring? How long can you last in the icy water before you have to go back into a warm sauna again?
