Spa – frequently asked questions and answers

Here we have collected the most common questions we receive about our spa. If you do not find the answer here, you are welcome to contact us by email: bokning@varbergsstadshotell.se.

At Asia Spa we have a 15-year age limit with the exception of the summer weeks 23-33. Then children* under the age of 15 in the company of a parent are welcome between 8 am and 1 pm.

*Children should be past the nappy stage and be able to wear normal swimwear, not swim nappies.

At Asia Spa, there’s a total ban on photos and cell phones – all in keeping with Japanese tradition. A digital break and quiet zones create a respite from everyday life. Calm movements and low-key conversations contribute to the soothing atmosphere.

Bar Sora is open every day from 3 pm. There you’ll find light bites to eat and something delicious to drink.

Regular opening hours are: Monday-Thursday 7am-9pm, Friday 7am-8pm and Saturday-Sunday 8am-8pm

Subject to seasonal variations and public holidays.

When you arrive at Asia Spa, you will be given a yukata (Japanese bathrobe) and slippers. The yukata and slippers are the dress code at the spa and you will wear them when you move around our premises. Underneath the robe, you will wear swimwear or workout clothes depending on what you are going to do.
If you are a hotel guest, change into a yukata and slippers in your room and wear your swimwear underneath.
